Yealink devices: RPS Service Adjustment
Due to historical reasons, an old Remote Provisioning Server ("RPS") service has been maintained by Yealink exclusively for certain End-of-Sale (EOS) or End-of-Life (EOL) Yealink devices and specific customers.
Since the launch of Yealink's new RPS server in 2020, the service has been operating reliably and securely. To provide customers with a more secure and reliable RPS service, Yealink will officially discontinue the old RPS server as of October 1, 2025.
Devices running firmware versions lower than those listed in the "Affected Versions" table must be upgraded to the corresponding "Recommended Versions" to connect to the new RPS server.
To minimize the risk during upgrade, we recommend performing the upgrade within the same major version branch (the second digit in the version number, e.g., xx.84.xx.xx).
